What most people get wrong about the cost

The advertised price
Schools quote Transport Canada's 45-hour minimum. It is a legal floor, not a forecast. Almost nobody finishes there.
The real number
Most students log 60 to 80 hours. In BC that usually works out to somewhere between $18,000 and $25,000 all in.
What moves it
How often you fly. Twice a week finishes cheaper than twice a month, because skills fade between lessons and you pay to relearn them.
